Madge Networks enhances support for Microsoft® Windows® XP
Madge adds Microsoft® certified ‘Designed for Windows
XP’ Logo to its industry-leading Token Ring adapter and software
driver
Amsterdam, The Netherlands (October 3, 2002) – Madge
Networks N.V. (NASDAQ: MADGF) has enhanced its support for the Microsoft® Windows® XP
operating system by attaining the ‘Designed for Windows XP’ certification
from Microsoft. The ‘Designed for Windows XP’ status of
the Madge MK4 PCI Token Ring adapter family and driver software extends
Madge Networks’ integration strategy by confirming the compatibility
of its products for new PC purchases. This announcement further demonstrates
Madge Networks’ commitment to supporting both key industry platforms,
and OEM integration partners in support of their Microsoft Windows
XP delivery strategies.
The ‘Designed for Windows XP’ logo helps customers identify
products that deliver a high-quality computing experience with the
Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
Madge Networks supports Microsoft Windows XP on its full adapter product
family, together with a broad range of other Microsoft and third party
operating systems. The ‘Designed for Windows XP’ Logo covers
Madge adapter models 51-05 (rev 2002) and 53-05 (rev 2002) and their
software drivers. Other Madge adapters and drivers are supported by
Madge for use with Microsoft Windows XP using Madge LSS8.0.
